A Fun, Playful, Family-Owned Brand
Natural Life was founded by Patti Hughes, who attributes her creativity to her mother. Patti says that when she was growing up her mother was always working on creating something, and with such an artistic mom Patti couldn’t help but follow in her footsteps. In 1996, Patti discovered that she had a passion for black-and-white photography, and her new company, “Natural Life Photography”, was born. Family and friends started asking Patti if they could buy her photos, and she came up with the idea to make her favorites into little keepsakes and magnets to sell at the local art market. When her products sold out within the hour, Patti realized that this was something she could turn into a company. She started partnering with local businesses and her homemade keepsakes turned into her own business. Since then, her company has grown bigger and started producing dozens of different products, but Patti still oversees the production of every item. She attributes her passion, motivation and inspiration to not only her mother, but also her three daughters.
