Heavenly Dove Christian Bookstore at Country Folks Superstore will be hosting a book launch party for Ishnabobber Books on Saturday February 23rd from 11am to 2pm! These colorful picture books, designed to help grow faith at a young age, will be for sale at Heavenly Dove, and they are the perfect book for young readers.
The First Book in a Christian Series
The first of three in The Discovery Series, “How Can I Shine Brighter” follows the adventures of Ishnabobber, a young lighthouse who shines as bright as he can but believes that he can be more, so he embarks on a mission to learn what he can do and who he can be. Go on a journey with Ishnabobber as he learns about Jesus and sets about discovering how he can reach his full potential and shine as bright as he possibly can. A story of persistence and patience, “How Can I Shine Brighter” takes readers along on the little lighthouse’s journey, sparks great conversations, encourages Bible memorization, and teaches young readers about Jesus. The second and third books in this awesome series will be released later in 2019, and reading the first installment will make readers want to come back for more.

Adorable Kids Books by a Local Author
Susan Anderson is a wife, mother and grandmother who loves Jesus and writing. Most of her career has been spend working with children through coaching, educating, and ministry, but through her life circumstances and her faith to obey God’s nudging she has since made a full-time career out of writing Christian children’s books. Susan is passionate about sharing Jesus with others, and in addition to her writing she mentors other women and hosts retreats at her cabin home in the mountains of North Georgia. Susan is adamant that God get all the glory for the launch of her new series, and she is excited to go on this journey.
